Spartan fan here, and just wanted to say what a great game Iowa played. No way in hell should OSU jump you guys.

Honestly, I didn't see Iowa's D shutting down MSU's O the way it did. I mean, your D has been good all season, but that was an elite performance last night. Incredible job.

I was in Indy for the game. MSU is an elite defense. Period. It may have been the hardest hitting game I have ever watched live. Honestly, the only one close to that level of hitting was Iowa vs Sparty in East Lansing when we flipped the outcome on a last second Stanzi to McNutt score. MSU fans were gracious in victory and very respectful. When Canzeri got injured, the man sitting next to me and my son who was a huge MSU backer, was sick. Kept saying "no, no, no....that kid does not deserve to miss this". Very cool. He was upset about it. Our Hawkeyes were terrific. We are definitely worthy of top 5. Wish we would have pulled it out because sadly, Iowa has no wiggle room. We have to be perfect or we have no shot. I will be pulling for MSU and hope they bring it home. Go hawks

Um great game by msu a hard fought game by Iowa. I hate the old adage there is no such thing as a great game when you lose.
