Speaking of Torbee, Can Iowa get into the Big Ten Tournament or is Fran going to drop is little micro chode in the dirt once again and let Nebraska end our season?
Seems like we all have a lot to think about after all.
At the top of most recruit's lists of what they want out of a team is the ability to make the conference tournament. Today will be a very consequential game for the future of the program.
If I were a recruit I would want to go to a place where I could not be very good but still get playing time. Let me launch up 20 shots per game and still get the green light as long as I make 5.

This is hard for me to say, but I actually sort of hope they lose today because I just want this season to end and the saga of “will he or won’t he” regarding McCaffery to be resolved one way or the other.
This season has been a sad slog and I feel bad for the players who at least kept playing hard.
Do you not have any NIT hopes? That's no way to go through life.

I actually go to the NIT games when Iowa hosts.
I have a sick obsession with college basketball.
So if he stays do you think Iowa is going to have a better year next year or are we going to keep playing the same old record as the team fights for the last spot in the BTT?
People want good hoops at Iowa. Can Fran bring that back?

Impossible to say at this point. Will depend on who transfers out, who transfers in and how ready the pretty good recruiting class is to make an impact.
I think Iowa could have still been a bubble team this season if not for all the injuries. Not “good” mind you, but more competitive.
