Petras is going to take every snap.Only way I watch their bowl game is if Labas is the starter. In order to see what next year may look like
That would be me as I am not spending a ton of moola on a game that only matters to get reps in for the younger playersAny guesses if any of the draft eligible players sit out this mediocre bowl game?
Petras is going to take every snap.
Didn't know he was draft eligible. Hmmmm....Keegan Johnson
He was really lighting it up Friday before he was injured. And should.
You realize you're talking shit about two teams who beat Iowa, right?Nebraska and Iowa State’s entire teams?
.5 QB rating. ☹He was really lighting it up Friday before he was injured.
If that makes you feel better, teams that Iowa couldn't beat.Nebraska and Iowa State’s entire teams?
Tom (I think it was Tom..)reported he was in a sling, which must have been a very delayed treatment b/c I also saw him exhibiting full range of motion with the throwing arm while on the sideline. No wonder he didn’t want to come back in. He was certainly fine on the sidelines waving his arms around calling plays …………….
You are joking, right?Tom (I think it was Tom..)reported he was in a sling, which must have been a very delayed treatment b/c I also saw him exhibiting full range of motion with the throwing arm while on the sideline.
By not putting Spencer back in with what was clearly a minor issue, Brian and Kirk would attempt to make Padilla the reason we lost, rather than Petras.
We are getting a transfer QB and Labas will probably transfer.Only way I watch their bowl game is if Labas is the starter. In order to see what next year may look like
No, he's not. More evidence that we have the dumbest msg board posters in all of sports. Congratulations! You are joking, right?
If you're talking about Petras, his arm was in a sling. No wonder he didn’t want to come back in. He was certainly fine on the sidelines waving his arms around calling plays …………….
I said should not would. Like Linderbaum, a kid who bleeds black and gold. yet he should. Lindy got injured last year and took months to recover. You've paid your dues now go get the NFL check, beating another 7-5 team isn't worth the risk to you son...Not.a.chance.
Heard he’s already working on throwing left handed.Petras is going to take every snap.
Beat me to it.The fans.
Thank you. Thank you. You've been a great crowd. Doodle will be here all week. Two shows on Friday and Saturday night. Don't forget to tip your waitress. Try the veal. Thanks for comin' out everybody. Drive safely. Goodnight!
I would guess May is the only qb on the current roster back next year with an outside chance of Petras. We are getting a transfer QB and Labas will probably transfer.
I think Padilla will be back. He doesn’t have a ton of other options and I don’t get the feeling he has ambition to be anything more than a backup. His ambition is to go to Med School and Iowa helps him with that.I would guess May is the only qb on the current roster back next year with an outside chance of Petras.
Many like to finish their careers with their teammates, it’s the bond they build.I said should not would. Like Linderbaum, a kid who bleeds black and gold. yet he should. You shut your whore mouth.I would guess May is the only qb on the current roster back next year with an outside chance of Petras.
That might keep Bad QB2 on the roster - but I think the competition is really between Carson and Joe. Both guys come from offenses where they threw on the run, from the pocket and can both run downfield. Don't know what they look like in practice but they both look better than either Bad QBs 1 & 2 did at the same age.I think Padilla will be back. He doesn’t have a ton of other options and I don’t get the feeling he has ambition to be anything more than a backup. His ambition is to go to Med School and Iowa helps him with that.
Well next years QB isn’t on the roster, so…Only way I watch their bowl game is if Labas is the starter. In order to see what next year may look like
Wow, I think some of you people have lost it. Petras was in a lot of pain on the sideline and had very limited ROM with his throwing shoulder. But keep spouting all your nonsense. FFS.Tom (I think it was Tom..)reported he was in a sling, which must have been a very delayed treatment b/c I also saw him exhibiting full range of motion with the throwing arm while on the sideline.
