H.A.W.K. Pre-meet Social

H.A.W.K. will be hosting a Dec. 1 pre-meet social in conjunction with Hawkeye Wresting Club (HWC).

Join us at the Kinnick Stadium Pressbox from 4:30-6:30 prior to the Illinois meet at 7:00 pm.

Come meet HWC coaches and wrestlers and get caught up on what's happening with the program.

Cost is free to H.A.W.K. members or anyone who joins that evening. If not a member there is a $10 cost at the door.

HWC donations will also be accepted that evening.

This is going to be fun!!! Food & Beverages to enjoy !! Hope to see many of you there!

What/who is H.A.W.K.?

Club started in 1977 to support hawkeye wrestling. Have get togethers after meets, put together trips to big tens and nationals. Names on sign up sheet were added to the HWC data base,

Stuff like this baffles me tbh. Why isn’t info like this readily available and/or common knowledge to most?

I’ve learned more about the Iowa program, HWC and other groups in the past in past 9 months vs the previous 25 yrs.

Maybe I’ve been an ostrich?

We are trying... The HWC has included the info in their newsletter and on social media last couple weeks..

The HWC and HAWK Klub are working together on this..

Just the benefit of getting a room at the iowa hotel at big tens last year in bloomington was worth the cost of membership alone. Good organization!

If you live in Iowa and regularly attend meets or if you travel to the Bigs or Nats, this is the group for you.
