I feel like we probably need someone that isn't completely milquetoast while maga is in a full sprint. Hakeem on Jon Stewart's podcast was not inspiring, it basically killed any hope I was holding out.

Funny (or not) how that tweet doesn't mention the 40 year old actual Chair of the task force.
Right now Trump is in his "scripted plays" phase of his final term, so it's too early to judge Jeffries. When that script ends though, I think the Congressional Dems leadership team will look superior to the Republican leadership team.

See what the establishment republicans did when they were in the minority starting in 2009. They were in front of the cameras daily, pounding a consistent message, though it was awful and hateful, but it was a message nonetheless.
It takes these gimps a week to a call a press conference to discuss an event. By then Cheeto has committed 60 other galling acts.
This is exactly why so much of the democratic base increasingly sits out elections. These a-holes aren’t going to do anything but live big and collect a check. They are very content being in the minority.

What do the Republicans do when they are the minority? They don't make it easy on Democrats. He should do that and then some. They need harsher language that will rise eyebrows. Elon Musk is being allowed to do some weird illegal stuff and Democrats are acting like it's BAU. AOC should be on the House Oversight Committee and not some old guard Democrat with throat cancer.
Can we banish the olds from having responsibility over anything? Retire, play badminton, travel the world - anything but trying to run the opposition.
