Alda has dropped from public view after being diagnosed with Parkinson's, so it is a fine day to honor an excellent actor.
Best known for playing Capt. Benjamin Franklin Pierce on M*A*S*H*, Alda had a long, wide ranging career. He turns 89 today.
CSB, I have a co-worker with the last name of Tuttle. He's onboard with being called. Captain Tuttle.

While I was in grad school I worked overnights at cedars youth home in Lincoln. I would get home at like 6 am and sleep until noonish.

Like clockwork I would buy beer from the gas station next to my house at 930 pm. Go to work, stop at the store on my way home, grab my beer, and eat breakfast/dinner while watching MASH and winding down.

I have seen every episode of Mash Multiple times, including the pilot.

Love Alda, not a huge fan of his politics but can respect the man he is.

A hell of a soldier, that Tuttle!

CSB, I have received a like from @Igor Stravinsky10 , which is quite similar to the character Igor Straminsky on M*A*S*H*. Actor Jeff Maxwell played Igor, and he joins the five principle actors who are still alive. Alda, Loretta Swit, Jamie Farr, Mike Farrell, and Gary Burghoff.
I actually named myself after one of Fletch's many aliases, but Igor from M*A*S*H* was great too. Like Whiskey mentioned, I have also seen every episode multiple times and still watch it almost every day.

I’m probably the only person in the world who doesn’t care for MASH. Don’t hate it, but if I’m scrolling channels, will definitely not land on it.
