Let’s see if we can simplify things a bit. Do you believe the preservation of slavery was the primary reason the Confederate states seceded from the Union, yes or no? Don’t quote some passage from Lew Rockwell. Just answer a simple yes or no.
How many of the 13 southern states cited slavery as their sole/main reason for secession?

Was Lincoln an avowed racist who felt negroes were inferior and advocated for their colonization?

This was, like all wars, unnecessary.

This thread is about Confederate Heritage Month, not Lincoln. I’m going to ask one last time and if you once again refuse to answer then I’m going to assume your answer is no.

I suspect that you are right.

I wouldn't want to know anyone who fits into either category, let alone both.
