Easter celebrates the truth that Jesus Christ, the

beyond the cemetery for all who believe in Him.

Actually, the church hijacked the ancient pagan festivals and Passover to garner converts. Just as they did Christmas which the church didn't even recognize until the 12th century as the "birthdate" of Christ. There is no verified calendar date of that chronicles the death of Jesus.
