It's hard to imagine that a guy that is drafted in that position isn't able to make an open shot. All post-season he has been terrible.

He's been making those shots all year, just has gone cold apparently. Sweet put back dunk though.

He played better tonight, but he has always been overrated. Never really impressed me that much at UNC for what he was supposed to be - first ever preseason first team AA, was supposed to be a Carmelo/Durant one-and -done type.

Iguodala is a much better player.

He looks so goofy and awkward on the court. He's not the smooth player that he was billed to be. Solid contributor for the Warriors this year, but is having a tough series.

His whole basketball career since high school = overrated!!!!

I honestly think if he would have stayed around 6'5" he would have been better. Always read how he dominated in AAU and against older players when he was in high school.

Are you serious? He started every game for a team that won 67 games this year and is in the NBA finals. He averaged over 10 points and 5 rebounds per game and shot 40% from three point range. He plays very good defense and takes care of the ball. Oh yeah, he's 23 years old. He may not be an All-Star, but the guy contributes in a big way for an outstanding team. I wish I could be so overrated.

Barnes was the ninth UNC Tar Heel to earn ACC Rookie of Year recognition, and the fourth to do so under Coach Roy Williams. Barnes scored the most points as a freshman in the ACC tournament since Phil Ford scored 78 points in 1975. He then went on to the NCAA tournament where he scored 84 points, the most points of any UNC freshman in history. Then again, UNC hasn't had very many good freshman players.

Don't you get it at4iowa? To be a great poster on this site, you're supposed to never watch the NBA season/playoffs, only watch the finals, then get on HROT and say things like you've been watching the NBA all year.
There have been some hilarious posts in multiple threads regarding the NBA finals, especially after game 3. What's funny is it's all made by people who clearly don't watch the NBA and have only started watching the NBA since June 4th, 2015.

So much dumb in this thread. Most of the people on here hate the NBA anyway, and since Barnes didn't go to Iowa and isn't Kevin Durant he must be terrible. The guy has had a pretty darn good season on the best team in the NBA. He can guard multiple positions, and can take the ball inside and outside. Not to mention he poured in 22 or 24 points in the 4th quarter of the clinching game of the series game against Memphis. No doubt he is struggling w/his shot and his confidence, and it certainly doesn't help that he is spending some time trying to stop LeBron as well. I'll agree he has had a bad series but him and Green were 10-20 last night and certainly were instrumental in the win.
