The Kings have just added a hell of a lot of fans to their base from the Hawkeye State!!!
Kings are at Minnesota in back-to-back games Jan 28 & 30. Someone should organize an Iowa bus trip. Maybe the T-Wolves will have Luka on the roster also?
My wife and I are already planning to take my 15 yo son to one of those. He has a Sacramento Murray jersey already. We are big fans of the kings now.
Yeah, still not a Kings fan. Hope they can finally become something decent, but I'll always be a Celtics fan.
I don't follow NBA much. I love Kris got drafted high. But this is a bad franchise and I can't see how even he will turn them around. How long before he becomes a free agent and move to a decent team?
If the Kings don't screw it up, they have a good core. Keegan, Barnes, Sabonis, Fox and Huerter is a pretty good starting 5. Their problem is going to be depth. If they can find 2-3 guys on their bench they can count on giving them 15-20 quality mpg, they could be a playoff team. Now, it is possible they are a year or two away...which gives them time to screw it up.
Their problem will also be defense imo. Not many plus defenders on that roster. Keegan will feel right at home
The Kings are going to be the Kings- that is just what happens when you have an inept front office and owner.
We hope Kris gets drafted high. First we hope he has an All-American season for Iowa.
