That maybe a shorter bench and playing your best guys the majority of the time may be the way to go. I think Fran is so concerned about keeping players happy and trying to divide up minutes that it hurts the teams cohesiveness. Some of the rotations in the past have been head scratching to say the least. Maybe sometimes less is actually better. Next year will definitely be interesting with so many more players available.

to me in the past he never really had team makeup of players able to play multiple position,
Next years team lines up like this
6'0 JT is a PG
6'1 JB can play the 1 or 2
6'2 Ulis can play the 1 or 2
6'3 CJ can play the 1 or 2
6'4 Perkins can play the 1-2-3
6'6 JW can play the 2-3-4
6'5 Connor can play the 1-2-3-4
6'7 Kris can play the 2-3
6'8 Keegan can play the 3-4
7'0 Nunge can play the 3-4-5
6'11 Garza can play the 4-5
6'11 Ogundele can play the 4-5
6'8 Pemsl plays the 4-5
depending on the matchups

6'8 Patrick if healthy can play the 1-2-3-4-5 depending on the matchups Fran will have the personell to go small, large that can all play defense, plus athletic enough to run uptempo, Full Court press for the whole game now and not wear the players out.

Fran now has over 400 career wins and is 2nd in Iowa's history.

plus his 1st set of 4 year starters recorded the 3rd Best win total and tied the 2nd best season for wins with 25. behind Dr. Tom's 30 win total.

not bad after rebuilding this team and having to get the fans to come show up for games after Lick and SA drove it into the ground in both fan attendance and winning or lack of.
