I never would have imagined that the most expensive and most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever bought would have been New Balance (1080s). I am sure there are others out there equal or better. But I honestly can’t imagine a shoe being more comfortable than the current crop out there compared to the garbage we’ve lived with until now.

Have we reached shoe euphoria?

It's unreal how comfortable some shoes are these days. I'm a huge fan of the Brooks Ghost shoe line but I've heard great things about New Balance.

I will never go back to using Nike, Under Armour, Addidas, etc. for walking/running/work out shoes.

That's their cushioned running shoe. I've never been impressed with that model but I've yet to try the new fresh foam 1080.

It’s different than all the others and it’s not even close to any shoe I’ve ever worn. And about twice as much as anything I ever paid. But worth it. I have another pair in a box ready to go but these have lasted pretty much an entire season for me without feeling much different.

I wear a specialty brand for running, Altra. They made a shoe, the Torin 4.5, about 5 years ago that was perfect for me. They have since made three more versions, 5, 6 and 7, that are inferior. So, for me, shoe technology peaked a while ago.

I've been an Asics guy for years. I did get an Under Armor pair about 6-7 years ago and within 3 months I was dealing with plantar fasciitis, took over a year to fully recover.

Use to run a lot, several marathons. I was an ASICS guy for the most part.

Since I quit running I haven’t purchased a pair of sneakers in 4 years. Don’t wear them out to quick just walking.

Usually I just wear Hey Dudes. Zero support but good enough for a two mile walk.

I would like to try those high tech Nike that supposedly propel you and actually make you run faster.

It's been all down hill from here.

I do love my store purchased legit HOKA’s that in addition to being amazing comfortable also help with my insecurities my making me 6’5” instead of the 6’4” height I have been burdened with my entire life.

I used various brands in my running days, but primarily Asics and NuBalance.

But my chiro recommended, and I bought, a pair of Altras last week for my walking, and it's like padding around in bedroom slippers. Sooooo comfy, and great for my scoliosis.

Not gonna lie fellas - even when it exposes me for the old man I'm becoming!

A few months ago Howie Long and Tony Romo convinced me to try a pair of Skechers slip-ins. They're the most comfortable walking-around shoes I've ever owned. I've gone many years wearing Asics, which are great. The Skechers though - they're like walking on a cloud!

I got these, that are called "Skechers Slip-ins: GO WALK Arch Fit 2.0 - Grand" - got them when they were on sale, which is probably most always.
