Hawk fan can't tail gate

I went to Columbus back in college without tickets. I planned on scalping tickets but was fine with just tailgating if I couldn't get any that I could afford. If it wouldn't cost me a much I'd go to Pasadena and just tailgate, but I know it wouldn't be possible right now.

My argument is that if you are going to drop 1500-2000 to fly/stay in LA....why not pick up a $200 ticket?

Driving to Columbus to tailgate is cheap in comparison.

Welcome to the life of a partier. Estimates have been made that when the clones come to Kinnick there are 30,000 tailgaters that never intend to go to the game.

Those in the interview that were only tailgating stated they live in Southern California. How are they spending $1,500+ on this trip?

There will be tickets out there for 75-150 dollars a piece. Lots of tickets left and scalpers will sell.

One dude said he lived in San diego.....not LA.

You tell me how much a plane flight, hotel, rental car and food in LA cost.

Why would you fly from San Diego? It's only a 2.5 hour drive. You have your own vehicle so all you are paying for is gas and a place to stay for the night. You could probably do the whole thing for under $250.

Well, I get being there I really do...but sitting in the End Zone is almost like being in the tailgate area to me in the Rose Bowl...long way from the field and no depth perception. I get just wanting to be in the stadium though...it will be electric. I really hope we have 60000 there...that would be incredible to have a home atmosphere.
