Kennesaw is a really, REALLY, bad team. It's easy to see why they had one win coming into this game.

Playing psu in philly will be a completely different matter.

I liked how they came out with intensity and focus. Alot of times when playing a team like this after a nice win they are flat as a pancake. Not today, they looked sharp

Sometimes necessity produces very productive change. The move to the four guards dramatically improved team performance, especially defensive performance.

Joe T and Jordan are far better ball players than Jack. We have the rebounding problem with big teams but the defensive improvement has been dramatic.

Rarely second guess the coaches player decisions. Some are like Scott Mullen at QB where I'd love to ask Coach Ferentz how the guy ever saw the field when every other QB played better in the games. Some, like Jack, are probably a product of fearing the team would be too small without a second big guy, so you can understand why what appears to be an inferior option was being tried.

When Jack returns his primary focus should be on learning to play center like Garzilla. Work on the inside moves, limit the looking for threes, play much more physically. Jack will probably be Luka's reserve next season and could be the starter the season after that.

Probably so, but I wouldn't be expecting anything like we are getting from Luka. Not sure I've ever seen another big who plays through contact like he does. He thrives in it, almost relishes the contact. Nunge will never be that kind of player, and few players would.

I'm not expecting Nunge to be near as good as Kriener let alone Garza.

I had high hopes for Nunge, as I think he has some skills, but he is too passive at this point. He was finally starting to contribute, and had hoped it would light a fire in him, and then of course the injury. Sitting out another entire year will be hard on him, so frankly I have no idea what if anything they'll get when he returns.

Old school McHale. Almost unstoppable.
Simple repetitive moves practiced to perfection, extremely hard to stop.
Drive to keep battling and not let anyone out work you. BOOM success!

I don't think you can make it any assessment on IG base what he did this year. Let's just wait and see

He's never going to succeed where he's out of the deep low post most of the time. He lacks almost every skill that is necessary for anything but a deep post traditional center, with a little 21st century three point shot thrown in as a tribute to post modern basketball.

That's not really a knock, lot of big boys in the hall of fame that didn't spend much time out of the deep post. Being good enough to start at center as a senior should be the kid's goal. He might not be Garzilla but he could be a 15/8-10 kind of player and that would be very good.
