In my opinion, going to that Hooters while in Vegas is not an option. I'm not going to leave the strip to go to a chain restaurant, which is too bad because that would be a lot of fun (although I understand why locals stay away from the strip).
With that being said, go to any sports book (Caesars, Mirage, Venetian are all good options). People will be into the game regardless if they are a PSU/Iowa fan. And it's Vegas, you can get loud and crazy anywhere and no one will give you a second look.

Dress in Iowa gear. Find a sports book get there early tip a waitress well and get the game on one of their big TVs with sound and bet on the game. To steal an Iowa phrase "If you build it they will come". Watch the Iowa and PSU fans roll in around you. Has worked every time for me. Before you know it you will have a pretty good party going on. The sports books love this too because people start betting on things they didn't plan on betting on.
This isn't correct. The sportsbooks put the games with the most action on the biggest screens with sound. Not because a waitress asked them. The OP won't have any trouble seeing the PSU/Iowa game, but the sound will be on the Georgia/Florida game.
I've never had any problem. You need to know Vegas and know the good sport books though.

Any sportsbook worth going to is showing the game with the most money wagered on the main screen(s) with sound, not because a patron tipped a waitress. At least not on college football Saturdays.

Ahhh your one of those guys that knows everything and likes to tell everyone that you know everything. You're one of those fun types. I used to live in Vegas buddy. I know my way around the strip.
Ignoring the fact that you're essentially doing the same thing, which sportsbooks will put your game of choice on the main screen (with sound) by tipping the waitress?
