Hawkeye Basketball is BACK thanks to many Coaches, Players, Past Players, Associates, and Fans. But Fran is the Leader of this comeback and I can't thank him enough for his passion, leadership, coaching, relentless work ethic, compassion for his players, and his perseverance.
21-10 and 12-6 in Conference with 6 wins in a row and 8 out of last 10 is damn impressive. This team appears to be peaking at the perfect time.
White and Uthoff are definitely leading the way with scoring, making BIG PLAYS on O and D....they are both IMHO NBA players.
With that being said, Gessell and Clemmons are playing great together at PG and Woody/Gabe are doing excellent at the Center position. Jok/Ogelsby/Uhl are making their presence known and if we can get 2 out of these 3 hot from the outside at the same time this team could get to the Big Ten Champ Game and then get to the Sweet 16.
