Just some quick thoughts and recap with links to everything from this weekend.

First, two huge Class of 2019 commits in Logan Lee and Tyler Endres. I feel like it's getting overlooked a little because they are 2019 kids instead of 2018, and it seemed like Iowa was going to be hard to beat for them anyway, but still big news for the Hawkeyes and a tremendous start to the Class of 2019.
Logan Lee - June 24 - 6-foot-5, 225-pound TE from Orion, IL (2019)

On Thursday, the top in-state prospect in the Class of 2018, John Waggoner, made his own one on one visit and it's hard to imagine things going any better. Right now, we think it's mainly an Iowa vs. Ohio State battle and I wouldn't bet against the Hawkeyes. Decision coming next month probably.

Class of 2019 defensive end Spencer Bono was the first to leave on Friday and really enjoyed his first visit to Iowa City. Bono is not rushing into anything and has no plans on making an early decision right now.

I feel like Iowa has done a tremendous job of recruiting Jack Plumb and is making it a very difficult decision for him. Still hard for me to bet against Wisconsin with all if the success the Badgers have in-state there. We'll see. Decision coming in the next week or two probably.
Jack Plumb - June 23-24 - 6-foot-8, 240-pound TE/OL from Green Bay, WI (2018)

I was impressed with Julius Brents' thoughts on the visit. He seems to be taking a very thorough approach to the recruiting process. Iowa is definitely a top school for him, but right now he's planning to wait to decide until the fall. One interesting thing he said is the coaches told him upfront they are only taking 3 DB's this year and already have 1 committed in Terry Roberts. So only room for two more, ideally Brents and D.J. Johnson, IMO.

It seems like Iowa was getting close to landing Bryson Williams only to see Wisconsin offer last week and throw a wrench into things a little bit. I mentioned yesterday that some feel the Badgers might be too late to the party though. Williams was able to squeeze in a visit to Madison on Friday and then made it to Iowa City Saturday morning for the Tailgater. Now he's planning to decide and still wants to get it done this summer.

Class of 2019 DB Larry Tracy told us Iowa is on top among his offers, but Virginia Tech is one school he's waiting for to see whether or not they offer before he wants to decide on anything. He will have the pull of cousin Tyrone Tracy Jr. joining Iowa in the 2018 class though too obviously.

Iowa has only offered 1 QB in the Class of 2019 and that is Council Bluffs native Max Duggan. He returned to Iowa City on Sunday to camp with the Hawkeyes and work with quarterbacks coach Ken O'Keefe. Duggan said O'Keefe really likes his quick release and Iowa likes how he's a multi-sport kid in high school with good athleticism. One interesting note is that Duggan has gotten to know fellow in-state recruits like Tyler Endres and Ezra Miller, plus Logan Lee who lives just across the border in IL, pretty well over the past year from all of their visits to Iowa mainly. Anyway, those 3 are already reached out to him this weekend and are working on getting him to join the 2019 class at Iowa.

I think Tom is still waiting for a call back from Class of 2019 RB Jirehl Brock for a full interview, but one thing I can tell you is that Logan Lee asked us right after the visit if Brock committed too, so the Hawkeyes appear to sit very well there too.
Jirehl Brock - June 24 - 6-foot-0, 186-pound RB from Quincy, IL (2019)

Previously committed visitors:
Tyrone Tracy Jr. - June 23-24 - 6-foot-0, 187-pound WR from Indianapolis, IN (2018)
Henry Geil - June 21-24 - 6-foot-0, 211-pound RB from Green Bay, WI (2018)
Jeff Jenkins - June 23-24 - 6-foot-4, 272-pound OL from Crystal Lake, IL (2018)
Samson Evans - June 23-24 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound WR from Crystal Lake, IL (2018)
Dillon Doyle - June 23-24 - 6-foot-3, 215-pound LB from Iowa City, IA (2018)

Here's those 5 with new 2019 commits Logan Lee and Tyler Endres on the ends.
