New 2018 Offer: WR Drue Jackson

Class of 2018 wide receiver Drue Jackson added an offer from Iowa today.

Class of 2018 wide receiver Drue Jackson was among a group of recruits from Sachse, TX that attended the Iowa Hawkeyes' spring game this past weekend. Today, the Iowa coaching staff followed that up with a visit to his high school and officially extended a scholarship offer.
"I was surprised," said Jackson. "My head coach told me after practice because Coach Kennedy, the wide receivers coach, was there today."
On Saturday, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Jackson was in Iowa City with Sachse teammates Riko Jeffers, Kelon Wilson, and Nicholas Alexander, and left town impressed with what the Hawkeyes have to offer.
"I loved it," Jackson said. "They have very nice facilities."
Iowa is the second offer for Jackson as the Hawkeyes join Texas Tech on his list. The Class of 2018 prospect says Colorado could be next and is also receiving interest from Arkansas, Baylor, and Texas among others.
