The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Johnston has previous offers from LSU, Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina, NC State, South Alabama, and Southern Miss.
There is a family connection to Iowa here that we've posted about before. Johnston's mom is originally from Cresco, IA, and his grandparents still live in the area. Also, his dad played football at Waldorf College.
