New Hampton offensive lineman Noah Fenske has seen his recruiting pick up steam recently with scholarship offers from North Dakota and South Dakota State, but today took it to another level. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Fenske was able to make it down to Iowa City for the Hawkeyes' junior day and left town with his first FBS offer from the Iowa coaching staff.

"It's a blessing," Fenske told HawkeyeReport.com. "God has blessed me to play the game I get to play."

The offer is Iowa's seventh inside state borders in the Class of 2019 as Fenske joins Max Duggan, Ezra Miller, Tyler Endres, Mosai Newsom, Jack Campbell, and Cameron Baker on the Hawkeyes' list.

See highlights from Fenske's junior year at New Hampton in the video below.

From those pictures of Fenske with other recruits, my opinion of Mosai Newsome just skyrocketed! That dude is HUGE. If he has the speed to be DE, he just leapfrogged a lot of the other ‘19 recruits as a “must get.”

Just my 2 cents worth.

Yeah, these are three in-state monsters for high school juniors. Tyler Endres is a 4th one too, but had basketball practice Saturday and wasn't able to attend.

Fenske looks like he has a P5 body already. I like the fact that we are getting kids who already have the size it takes to play in the B1G. Miller and Endres are prime examples.

In the above photo, Newsome looks taller than the other 2. Fenske is supposed to be 6’5” and Ezra is listed at 6’6”. If Newsome is 6’5”, then either the 2 OL are being generous with their height, or Mosai has grown to at least 6’7”. Hoping it is the latter.

Is he quick enough to be a DE? Anyone?

Agree and I said that in another thread. Newsom has to be 6'6". Get him on the bus but I think the coaches are saying de. He and Bargy with Lee already on board would be a great haul.

The angle of the picture may be skewing size for all three

Ezra Miller looks like a soph. age Bulaga already, wow! Some good size high school juniors, '19 class could be a monster!

Also note the stance is a bit wider for the two on the right.

But man, they look FAST!
Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding. There's your answer folks. Mosai's stance is narrower. We def need to Get Newsome And Fenske. Bringing in the bigger eaters will help us compete with those giant Wisconsin lines.

Noah runs a sub 5 second 40 and has great feet. He's a good one to get.
The young man sure does have the size but I would like to see him explode in Shot put and Discus this spring because that will tell you how good his feet are at a young age. A year ago he was below the 50'/120' range so with some coaching he should really take off if the foot speed is there.

;)

He has really good feet. Shot and discus is a lot about feet, but more about connecting the upper body and lower body. He is an extremely hard working kid who has the size of a tackle, but is fast enough to play guard.

with 2 OL commits a kid with an offer better not think too long , we taking 3 no more than 4 in the class
