Really wish we could find a way to get both Nelson's on the field at DE for 20-30+ snaps. Two ends that are 6' 7" and 6' 8" can provide a huge advantages in passing downs. But Parker is a very good football player in his own right so I'm not going to fret very much :)

Thanks Blair. So is the tight end Kujawa, a legasy? Was it his dad, Paul who played fullback?

Matt Nelson is long, but I think Hesse played better last year once he got healthier. Then there's the matter of some other guys named Golston, and Simon, and some guy named Epenesa?

All we can hope for, as fans, is for the players to make it a very hard decision for the coaches as it relates to personnel decisions. Hopefully Simon, Golston, and Epenesa progress so well that the coaches feel obliged to give them positional reps. Hopefully the competition is at such a high level that the Nelsons and Hesse are all considered nearly interchangeable. We'll see though ...

Simple answer is with the DL this year they will need everyone in the mix. I wouldnt read too much in to the depth chart on the DL
