Maybe a silly question, but with fix already on the Cadet World Team, can guys wrestle on both the Cadet and Junior World Teams? Has anybody else done this? If not I would think for Fix to have a shot at this would be a big deal.

So is there a good chance we have three high school kids make the Junior Team and two could still be competing at Cadet Worlds? That's crazy.

Hall beat Nolf easily last month in Vegas. Hall did gas in last 30sec and gave up two take downs.

I agree with Spicolli. Nolf vs. Hall II (and III and IV - if it happens) will be very good. Not sure I would agree with your assessment of that match (and it certainly seems as if Hall doesn't agree either), but to each his own. I would favor Hall, but would not be surprised with anything.

Nolf vs Hall is a tossup, IMO. Nolf's neutral wrestling and motor looked superior to Hall's. Conversely, Hall's par terre game looked much more advanced, and he had a much better feel for advantageous freestyle positions. My feeling from the first match was that Nolf will have a much steeper growth curve in freestyle from this point out than Hall. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if Nolf wins this

I look forward to a Nolf vs Hall rematch as well. It will be interesting to see how much (if any) Nolf's Freestyle skills have improved as he prepares to compete in his 2nd career Freestyle tournament. It will also be interesting to see if Hall has been able to address his "motor" issues and whether or not he can defend against Nolf's relentless attacks from neutral. In their first match, Nolf clearly had his way with Hall from the neutral position both before and after Hall "gassed".

Good write up. As of yet I don't see Harrington or Stoll registered. I believe they have until midnight tonight to enter.

Tony Ramos just let me know that Stoll is going for a Greco wrestle off, so that is good for him, though I wanted to see him wrestle Free.

I've been told that Harrington will be there from someone at ISU, and I am pretty sure Winn was posting about it when he took over Team USA's Instagram account.

Put me down for Hall over Nolf, and by a wider margin. Just watched the match. Nolf is more tenacious but Hall is much slicker, especially when fresh. 13-8 sounds pretty close except that Nolf didn't score any turns, and Hall is never more than a whisker away from back points, whether from offense or defense. For Nolf to win that match he would've had to score 3 more unanswered TDs in a row. That's doable if the match were 12 minutes long.

So where are the rest of the Iowa guys? This is such a good experience for them. Hate to see them miss out if they are healthy.

Quite a few of our guys were at University Nationals. It's usually just FR and RSFR that are young enough to compete.
