Impressive for the 2 true freshman. Adjusting to college academic’s, practice time, being half way across the country from home the first time, makes it hard to excel in classes. Ferrari being one of the biggest recruits we ever landed, and everyone wringing their hands about his last name makes it even more impressive. Hopefully he has a Spencer Lee type career on and off the mat, minus the massive knee problems.

I was thinking that seems like a really short list compared to other years, wrestlers are usually among the best athletes when it comes to academics. Then I realized half our team is already in grad school by now and Iowa doesn't have a grad school Dean's list.

I was thinking that seems like a really short list compared to other years, wrestlers are usually among the best athletes when it comes to academics. Then I realized half our team is already in grad school by now and Iowa doesn't have a grad school Dean's list.

I was thinking the same thing. We have plenty that aren’t in grad school, and the list was bigger. Wrestler do usually take academics more seriously because there isn’t a professional league waiting to pay them millions.
