Nunge and Murray both played well in the 1st half. The big front line with those 2 and Garza in the zone gave Maryland fits. Iowa has so many different looks to give other teams.

It's gotta be tricky having 2 boys the same age on the same team. If Kris is even close to what Keegan has shown this team is gonna be rock solid for a few years. Keegan has to be a lock for the B1G all Freshman team

This zone also has active 6-8 players on the wing and 2 6‘10” Guys in the paint

way different than a zone of 4 guards

I can’t believe Murray went coast to coast in like 4 seconds.

The zone has befuddled Maryland.

The zone that started the game sucked. After they subbed in better defenders the zone has
worked. Keegan by himself upgrades the defense. JoeT had big impact defensively but got
out of control on offense.

Nunge has played well and contested shots. There was an analysis on other site
showing Iowa's 2pt defense improves dramatically when both Nunge and Garza
are in there--from allowing 50%Garza only to allowing 38% Nunge/garza. The zone with Keegan and Pmac at the wings is pretty tough.

PMac played well, too. The length and youth bodes well for Iowa this year and down the road.
