EVERYTHING regarding immigration reform begins and ends with border security. If the leftists refuse to secure the border, immigration reform is a fantasy.

And Democrats realize that Republicans have no intent to meaningfully address immigration reform. No intent to address those that have been here for decades. Why should they compromise to build a wall which is nearly universally recognized to do nothing to address illegal immigration, understanding that many or most peop,e here as illegal immigrants came here legally.

Meanwhile, Republicans gleefully point out that Democrats refuse to compromise while you point out that Republicans refuse to compromise.

It would have been on his desk at the end of the day but then some people on Fox News complained about it so he blew it up right before the vote. And you blame people on the left for this?

There have been two major pushes for immigration reform, both under Republican Presidents in the last 20 years. Both of those bills were blown up by Republicans in Congress. Well, the second one was blown up by the President himself, but it was Republicans who chose not to vote for it after that.

Hard to take an article seriously when the first paragraph makes a false statement. Trump admin made approx 1000 policy changes on immigration, Joe didn't have that many executive orders.


The border is a very serious issue that will take both parties to compromise and to get fixed. Blaming a POTUS for issues is simple-minded. There are essential parts of reform ( funding) that would have to be legislated that a POTUS can not do by themselves. Neither of the last two POTUS has the capability to "fix" the border so it is silly to blame them solely for the issues.

The left is allowing criminals, terrorists and fentanyl through in record numbers. More Americans are dying everyday from fentanyl poisoning than covid. Wake up or shut up.

Fentanyl is funded, trafficked, and consumed by Americans through legal port crossings. Asylum seekers and illegal crossings contribute nearly nothing to the trafficking of fentanyl. Restrictive border policies haven't curbed the transport of fentanyl and have arguably increased its transport, use, and value because it is so easy to hide.
