Here you go Kris. Heal that heel

I had that it really hurts
takes forever to get over too unless you just shut it down…… unfortunate for his season if that’s what it is…… but I’m guessing Iowa’s training staff can help him recover as soon as possible

Yes, JBo did have it.

I had never heard of this until the last few years. I'm sure it's been around, but has it become much more common? It sure seems like it. If so, why? Would it have anything to do with diets athletes are on these days or with the weight training they do? I'm just wondering why it seems relatively common now and unheard of for most of my life.

Mine was caused by wearing dirt-cheap athletic shoes that had poor arch support. The ligament tore away from the heel bone and took months to heal. Yes, very painful.

I have plantar fasciitis you can get a steroid injection in your foot to help it custom orthotics make a difference to where they mold your foot to make them. It would have to be extremely severe to be wearing a boot.

I've had it. But I started buying better shoes and it helped. I', also not as active as I once was - playing basketball, for example, it obviously very hard on the feet. Jumping and landing, cutting, etc.

Kris is no doubt were very good shoes. But his feet still take a pounding.

It sucks. And I don't think it can be "fixed".

....have had it several times. The last time I still walked 2 seasons at Waveland with it which is about 125 rounds per year. Then after second season, 3 PTs and good to go. Now...my PT was prolly in Nov or Dec, so activities were much easier that time of year but no pain.
