Isn't he just a DE not really an OLB? He's an edge pass rusher, the OLB terminology is tough for me to understand, can someone help me out?

The LB definitions have changed over the years, especially with the boom of 3-4 defensive looks.

What used to be the DE position is now a specified LB spot in a 3-4.

I'm trying to be as layman's as possible here.......

I noticed the bills do this . it seems like epenesa and a bunch of those linebackers are interchangeable. sort of a hybrid position.
