The Good
1st half
Big test next weekend as Minny has played better than their record. Both lines better be ready to go.
We need to stop the run better than the last two weeks.
If we do shake someone loose deep, need to hit a higher percentage of them. Not talking about forcing things, but hitting the ones that are there.
Play as a team, win as a team.
1st half
- 2nd offensive play--65 yard TD run by Wadley
- Josey Jewell's play
- Some big catches by Hillyer/Smith on 3rd drive
- Good runs by Daniels in redzone on 3rd drive
- Good run by Daniels +10 yards
- Good run by Wadley +10 yards
- Nice run by Wadley +10 yards
- Nice run by Wadley +10 yards
- Huge play by Beathard to Vandenburg extends drive
- Big effort play by Krieger-Coble on 2nd and 10
- Big pass to Vandenburg
- Nice cutback for Daniels for TD
- Big catch by Krieger-Coble on 3rd and 10
- Nice run by Daniels +10 yards
- Another big throw to Vandenburg inside the 10 yard line
- Big play to Kittle for TD
- Gashed by the run in the first half
- Missed multiple chances for INT's, although some were not easy picks
- We had many of our passes batted down at the LOS.
- 2 pretty questionable holding calls stopped momentum on a drive that showed promise. (Both KF and BF were having discussions with the refs, and for good reason)
- Missed some long balls that could have been huge (need to sharpen this up, Jerminic can get seperation, need to get him and Beathard on the same page)
- 1st 2 drives of second half showed promise, with no finishes for points
- Absolutely atrocious spots of the ball by the Zebras, too many of these to count(the play where Daniels got stopped short on 3rd and 1 should have been a 3rd and inches)
- Sudfeld was not very sharp
- Indiana's WR's had major case of dropsies
- Howard may have gotten dinged in the 2nd half
