Well for what it’s worth that’s because he played for Iowa St. Youd have a different take if he had played for Iowa. He’s a very good quarterback, and I love to watch him play.

Yes, it’s funny how hard it is for some people to separate the rivalry hostility. For one thing I don’t hate Iowa State in pretty much anything but he’s a very good quarterback. Easily one of the 10 best

Actually the W is likely an old school Western Michigan helmet. It’s not what they use now, but….

Likely true but I really like Brock Purdy the person. He becomes an average qb imo if they have dump any of Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle or CMac to make room for him.

When I say this I’m not trying to be a dick but for me, that’s such a tired argument. I constantly people say things like well, if they didn’t have this person or that person, I’ve seen it the other way when they talk about CC well, if she had anybody else on the team she wouldn’t get all those points & assist, etc. etc. I mean it’s really kind of a bullshit argument Even a lazy one in my mind

I agree...BP gets knocked a bit more than he should (especially from Iowa fans)...but I think his point is more that if you have to pay BP at the cost of losing one (or more) of Kittle, CMac, Deebo, Aiyuk it may not be worth paying BP. Basically saying - which is harder to replace? BP or one of those pieces? I'm not arguing for/against either personally...but I can certainly see that argument.
