Does anyone have a collection of media guides or another way to access the Hawkeye wrestling rosters going back towards the start of the Gable era?

I checked with the sports information department but they don’t have the time to help me out.

Appreciate any help anyone might be able to provide.

Found the below link that should help with the pre-2005 years. It lists names alphabetically, so you would have to do some legwork to get each year. As best as I can tell, its accurate.(only checked 3 and names/years matched).

Was hoping not to have to dig for high schools, hometowns, weights, etc. but that may be something I have to do.

Have MBB/Football rosters, hometowns, high schools, etc logged back through 1979.
Wanted to add Wrestling and WBB to see where all of our Hawks have come from over the years.
Do we have someone from all 50 states?
How many high schools in Iowa are represented?
Just some curiosity on my part.

Pre 2003 you could start with all the NCAA qualifiers from the NCAA brackets @ https://nwhof.org/national-wrestling-hall-of-fame/brackets then fill in the few weights where Iowa didn't have a qualifier. You'd still have to look up hometowns for the ones you didn't know. Post the missing weights and the board will help you out!

I'm guessing we're probably missing about 15-20 State's or so. Some from some of the somewhat "obscure" State's as far as Iowa recruiting, but we did have Telford from Delaware, Gabe McMahon I believe was from Alaska. Had Leet from Georgia I think (not much mat time). Covington for a cup of coffee from Oregon. Rico Chiapparelli from Maryland.

Missing several Southern States (minus Florida, Arizona) and the far Northeast don't recall any, or Carolina's or Virginia's. Nobody coming to mind anyway.

Was hoping Dudley would have represented my home state of South Carolina as Iowa was his college team through most of high school. Was disappointed in his decision for myself being a Hawkeye fan, but was glad he made the right decision for him.

I don't see any SC kids being recruited by Iowa anytime in the near future if ever.
