Hockenson

Your kidding right? I mean, yes they still have things to work on, but both of those guys get drafted in the first three rounds if the draft was next week, and there's no debate. Trust your eyes. Fant is an athletic freak, and he goes in the first two rounds on sheer potencial. Hock may end up being the BEST all round TE who has ever played for a school where virtually EVERY TE who starts for at least a year, gets at minimum a cup of coffee in the league. Hell Eric Jensen who was a converted FB was in the NFL for a couple of years. The success that Kittle is having currently has only shown a brighter light on the position for a school that has a reputation for producing quality players at this position.
why do you wish to rush them out the door - we need them

Hockenson is one helluva football player. I don't tweet, but maybe someone who does could tell the Fant family Noah is pretty good, but he's the second best TE on his own team. And that, my friends, is a fact.
as mentioned, that is opinion.
I'd tell papa and bro Fant to F off though is they tried to downplay TJ. He is 100% legit!
Like you though, I don't have a twitter account.....

I wouldn't be so sure about TJ. Fant apparently will because he gets all the attention. Looking at other top notch hawks go way too low just makes me wonder. Have these "pro scouts" learned their lesson yet? Who knows....

Hock can make it in NFL. Brandon Myers, Chandler, Dallas Clark, Moeki, Kittle, and that 6'7 guy out of Illinois that plays for Texans. Even Reisner got a sniff. Iowa is not OLine U because our run blocking usually is not good, but Iowa is TE university.

Fant is going to go high because of his speed. Hock has way better hands.
You probably could have googled and found CJF's name.

I wonder if any other college team has ever had two tight ends with over 100 receiving yards in one game. That is an amazing stat.

Not sure where to put this so I put it here. It would be nice if someone on here with more access to video and fancy editing software (or a vine account) could come up with examples of enthusiastic and punishing blocking by current Hawks (similar to the Disrespectful Blocks thread of our former players in the NFL).

TJ's awesome block against Indiana

Those boys will have more joint 100 yard games I think. They are very good. They have a good QB that can locate and hit 'em when open. They both get YAC in bunches. Great weapons that make those around them better.

I get your need to rate, sift, and sort players. Bottom line they both have performed at the high level we fans have grown to expect from Hawk tight ends. Let's celebrate their continued growth and success. What their future holds is out of our control. It's going to fun while it lasts!!

The best thing about these two is their coach has some experience with dual stud TE's and how he's going to exploit these two for the next seven games.

Interesting to me anyway...when Chariton played Pella in high school Hockenson wasn’t the best athlete on the field-Noah Clayberg was. I know different positions.
