Hockey in Tampa Bay

Holy shit what a fun game to watch. TB dominates the first. Caps come back and tie it twice. Then the caps goalie shoots it in to his own net to give Tampa the lead in the third period only to have his team bail him out with 2 goals to win the game. Hat trick by Point. High stick resulting in teeth on the ice. This game had everything.

That was fun.

Yep was watching my caps emerge victorious. Thanksgiving Eve hockey is an aardvark family tradition, usually live but not this year with caps on the road. Only thing missing was Wilson didn’t fight for the gordie howe (though he considered it in the third).

And the high stick led to a disallowed goal which for some reason Tampa fans thought should stand anyway (?!). And the Hattie came from the own goal.

Crazy game. Btw, did they discuss bissonettes fight on the pre game?

Yeah the crowd booing made the pp goal even better. Although I like the Lightning. I was just rooting against them last night.

I didn't watch the pregame but I did see for a second that they had him on remotely from home or something. What happened?

A couple of days ago a couple of drunk golfers started to abuse restaurant staff at a place in Scottsdale. Biznasty intervened on behalf of staff and they jumped ugly with him. 6 v 1. Money quote: “took some, gave more”. 6 guys busted.


Caps could be an interesting team this year depending on ovi’s return. Carbury is a good coach and McClellan has built something a little reminiscent of Vegas year 1 in its depth.

I also like the bolts when not playing the caps. Cooper is a great coach.

I mean sure, but what’s interesting is if you watch a video montage of his 800+ goals, he is not nearly the one trick pony Canadians say he is.
