I don't know if there really was a turning point in the game today, but that would be it if there was one.

Man, I didn't see the hold, either. Looked like a nice drive block to me. Considering the blatant hold by NDSU by their OT in space that allowed for a first down pass that went uncalled, the call on Kittle was pretty ticky tack.
No doubt, it's a totally different game if that play stands. That said, NDSU thumped us in the second half and deserved the win.

It was a huge call, no doubt. If the play stands, it's a different game. It didn't. That penalty really seemed to take the air out of Iowa, and that is very dissappointing. The team has got to be more mentally tough than that.
Agreed. If we score a TD with what have been first and goal, we put the game away.
I agree with this. I am certainly not blaming the refs for the loss, but that was a very questionable call. Especially as Iowa was held the entire first half.
With that said. Iowa folded after that and got completely out coached and out played.
