Coincidently, ex-hawkeye Larry Parkers mother, Candace's grandma, lives in Des Moines like CC.
Wish the Parkers had settled in DM instead of Naperville... Candace and CC as Hawks? That woulda been cool.

Years ago Candace Parker was in the student section in Kinnick in one game, a few rows behind me, likely during a recruiting visit. She is a life-long Hawkeye fan though, so she probably went to many more Iowa football games as a kid.
