Photographs are nice, but after last year ended abruptly because of Covid, a five minute video would have given us fans more to savor until the start of the season whenever it begins.
How would Big Ten football or NFL football be for that matter, be excepted if they only put on TV, photos of the game instead of the game itself. Probably wouldn't go over too well.....
As has Nunge.....Patrick’s put on some muscle

it looks like Josh Ogundele didn't get in. At least as far as the photos showed.

I think the big will screw us over and not show all games for all teams. They have had 6 months to figure it out!! If they will not do it then let local channels televise games they won’tDo you not think they are going to air the basketball games this season?

All Big Ten games will be on national TV (per usual), as will Gonzaga, North Carolina, and ISU. The other non-conference games have a good chance to be on BTN, too. There may be a game that is only on BTN+ but that's probably less likely this year with Iowa being a top 5 team.
We look slow.White team seems severely undermanned, but some cool pictures - thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for some Hawk hoops!

(assuming this is related to my post last month on the football board. If not, then know I’m kidding)
I'll put down some $$ right now that Baer will not be playing minutes over the Murray twins. He got a few minutes last year as did Ash because the bench was so depleted at times. With five good looking frosh, AND no loss of eligibility there is no reason not to play any of the freshman over the walk ons.....And we don't know why Ogundele isn't in that gallery, it could just be that he is dinged up. But I presume his inexperience and physical shape will preclude him from getting significant minutes. Connor, the Murrays, Wieskamp, and Baer will probably fill some of those scrappy interior/'4' depth minutes that Till and Pemsl played last year. We'll see how Iowa can handle games where Garza and Nunge both have foul trouble against an opponent with big post depth.
I'm not promoting playing Baer nor do I think he will be needed in any significant minutes. If we see Baer it'll probably be in garbage blowout minutes. To your point, even garbage minutes should include a lot of freshmen for their own development. But I do think Iowa could have problems when Garza and Nunge have any combo of foul trouble or injury. That's the concern I was getting at because I'm mildly concerned about Ogundele, but that could be very premature on my end.I'll put down some $$ right now that Baer will not be playing minutes over the Murray twins.
