Baylor-Houston is all about contact tracing, not positive tests. Do these new daily tests, soon to be available, help eliminate This issue? If not, it will take a miracle to get a season in, IMO.

Several Baylor players who were set to miss the game did not receive a single positive test, and despite also receiving multiple negative tests in the same time frame, were not allowed to return to team activities because of local regulations in place for contact tracing.

If they dont eliminate the issue, theyre nearly useless over traditional tests. The point is to be able to test every day eliminating the need to sit out due to contract tracing. Tracing is still valauble for those in contact outside of the daily test candiates, but otherwise, whats the point right?

So this is a local thing with Baylor. Either the Big 12 get rapid result test or Baylor is playing something like 4 games this year.
