How Clemson Is Viewed Really Bugs Me This Year

Maybe it shouldn't, but it actually pisses me off how they lost to a 4-8 Syracuse team and they are basically given a pass. Why does it piss me off? Well if Iowa were 11-1 or even a Wisconsin at 11-, it wouldn't matter how tough our schedule was. All that would be discussed is how we lost to a team like Minnesota, Purdue,Maryland, etc..I tried to think of teams that are viewed like Syracuse currently.

Clemson and Dabo, eh give them a pass.

Clemson just won a national championship. That kinda earns you a pass.

Their starting qb was injured for that entire game. He's played every other game...won them all. That's part of the reason the loss is looked at as a lesser loss.

Meh. They're incredibly talented, their quarterback got hurt on the road in a Friday night game that they lost and Sagarin has them as the 2nd best team in the country. There's not much doubt they're one of the best 4 teams in the country.
