How do you pronounce tournament?

I usually end up pronouncing it DISAPPOINT-ment.
In my head I pronounce it TOURnament. In reality I say TURNament
I say it Dicky V. style - TORNament.
If I get banned I'll understand.

Years ago there was a local tv sports reporter who pronounced it "Tunamint". One of his other malaprops was "Fernando Venezuela"
A tournament isn’t a tour so I say it TURNament like a non-sociopath.
Sociopaths say words however they want instead of how they are spelled and pronounced.
I loathe Jim Rome, but when I was in the car listening to sports talk radio a long time ago he would talk about going on "Turr." Jim Rome is a grade A dipshit
I’m having trouble buying that TURNament and TERnamenet are different.
N is include in the first syllable of the former but not the latter.
But since we flow from one syllable to the next, I don’t think it changes the pronunciation.
I don’t know - I can hear a difference. TERnament is more is more singsongy with a stronger emphasis in the first syllable. At least in my brain.
