The high for Iowa City today will be six, the low minus 13. It wouldn't surprise me if they had less than 3,000 people . . . I mean those are brutal temps for a game featuring, perhaps, the two worst teams in the BIG. Even if Iowa were to win, so what? The turnaround required to make something of this season doesn't seem likely. Stay warm and stay safe.

We are not the worst team in the Big Ten. Not close to one of the worst teams.

Minnesota, Washington, Rutgers, Penn State and Ohio State are all worse than Iowa.

That's a highly optimistic view. Maybe you'll be right, but I stand by my assertion. Maybe I'll be wrong. Unlikely, but possible. In any event, Minnesota did beat Michigan, so the Gophers have a Quad 1 win over a Top 25 team, something Iowa has yet to accomplish. And where's Indiana on your list of teams worse than Iowa? No biggie. It's hell trying to keep track of 18 teams, that's for sure.

Me thinks declarations of teams being worse than Iowa should wait until the games are played. By next Tuesday we'll have answers to 3 of those 5.
True that is. But also true is this: I can have an opinion and share it here. That doesn't mean you have to agree with it. But it'll be interesting to see where things stand in a week.

BTW: Have you caught ESPN's Top 25 for the 2025 college football season yet? How about the latest NCAA bracketology? Maybe you should send those folks a note and tell 'em to just wait for the games to be played. ;)

I wasn't even replying to you but I personally think this team is bottom 5. And no I haven't checked either of those things as Iowa isn't in the picture.

"Carver" Iowa is an upper-mid pack B1G team. (so far)

"Visitor" Iowa IS one of the worst teams in the conference, without any doubt.

Will you be there ?

All you guys do is complain about the attendance while you sit on your ass at home watching it on the tele. I despise “fans” like you all.
I despise a Coach who in going on 2 decades has like 3 NCAA Tourney game wins TOTAL and the Beta no self esteem Fans who blindly follow that trainwreck of a Program for this long and still are not calling for the entire Coaching Staff to be terminated . Any serious Program would have fired Him long ago .

Blow out city… Kevin Kugler on the BTN call is smiling inside as he is a big Husker homer.

Did they up the ticket prices a lot??

Never followed the prices of mbb over the years, I just know wrestling ticket prices have doubled from a dozen years ago

I loved when they kept showing the traore dunk on tv because it was a highlight dunk. Yet if you watched the fans at the game, only a handful of people got up and were excited about it. Makes me think the REALLY want to be there.
