Just wait until you find out that Shabazz is Juice WRLD’s cousin and from Davenport.
Obviously you are on that apathetic bus...free country.
The die-hards like myself continue to follow recruiting closely.
After Shabazz commit Iowa has had several other commitments that have been discussed at some length on here.

Yeah, I'm aware of the more recent ones. Evidently, Spurlock is the reason.
Sure seems like several things are pointing to this being Fran's last year which makes these commitments quite curious.
Agree that from all appearances Fran & staff are recruiting as if it is bau.
If Fran is indeed leaving after this season I must say I appreciate that he continues to recruit to possibly leave the next coach a fighting chance to convince these incoming recruits to stick w Iowa.
If Fran was younger he might be lining up recruits that would follow him to a new job like dusty may at Mich or McCollum at drake.
Unlikely.
Different era but would like to avoid the empty cupboard gap when Dr.Tom was lame duck.
New dynamic does change transitions these days.

Getting a player like Wolf is huge. Hoping that if McCollum does sign on, that the new recruits are willing to give him a chance because they do seem like a step up in talent over what we've historically had.
Also hope the Creighton exodus rumors aren't accurate (especially with Dix).
Apathy is absolutely approaching Lick years. For anyone who disagrees - you are fooling yourself … I’ve shared before - but I used to be on local IClub board … I am in my 50s and I know many, many, many Hawk fans … and the apathy is real … I can’t name one friend/fan who supports Fran coming back … Many no longer watch games …

IF the new coach wants any of the recruits, he can go after them. Entirely up to him and what kind of roster can best accomplish what system he wants to run.
I have little to no interest in any supposed incoming recruits until Fran is gone. Getting the new coach in place is priority #1. Everything else follows that.
