How Much did JB Mean to this Team

We are not nearly as good without JBO but I don’t think we will turn it over this much the rest of the year. Give us some time to adjust. Good learning game for Joe T.

Joe T got bent over and raped by the reffs.

Those bs offensive fouls wont be called in conference.

Iowa needed him to break the pressure tonight and he had a freshman turd game.

He'll be fine and Iowa will be ok.

They're always going to struggle a bit against long athletic teams.

If Iowa makes free throws this game isn't close.

It was a hiccup game. Dumb plays we normally don't make and poor free throw shooting and we still win fairly easily. We will be fine

Yep, people are going to overreact to this just like the DePaul game.

We already know for a fact Joe Tousaint isn't what he showed tonight. He had a shit game, it happens to freshman.

Evelyn looks like hes getting comfortable now. With those two, Connor and CJ Iowa will be fine handling the ball.

Joe T having the worst game of his young career doubled the JBO injury. Luckily Bakari Evelyn had the GAME OF HIS LIFE. Where has that been all year?
I think he's been trying to find his niche all year and he found it. I wouldn't be surprised if he has more games like tonight now that he is getting more minutes at point guard. He is a good player

Could not have had much effect on this game. I read over and over on here that JoBo was not a point guard and what this team needed tonight was a point guard.

Pretty sure Iowa has had at least a dozen games like this with JBo on the court. This team was insanely aggressive in the 2nd half and the refs were letting a ton of checking and grabbing occur.
Iowa is way better with JBo on this team, but it’s not the 1st time we’ve seen this team in the last 5 years.

Joe T got tripped on his drives. Missed calls got him sideways early and he never got it going.

Fran had pretty quick hook on JoeT. The 2nd half turnover was on Garza and JoeT fouled and got pulled. Since Iowa won, I guess it all worked out. It is good learnng experience to face that kind of pressure and still win.

JBo has had games with turnovers..not a lot. Healthy Jbo would have made this a much easier win.

Usually guys like Kriener, Pemsl are wildcards. Those two had 5 turnovers, but then all the guards also had problems, JoeW 3, Fredrick 3, Bakari 5, Connor 2...Connor was the best ball handler, but one of his turnovers was a runnout score the other way. JoeT had 3, but they were ref calls.

I don't think we ever had one quite this bad sloppy/ turnover wise that I can remember

That turnover was 100% on Joe. Instead of going and taking the handoff he inexplicably stopped. Needed to aggressively go get the ball.

I don’t ever recall a game with JoBo where the point guard position had 8+ turnovers.

Pemsl, absolutely a wildcard. Kreiner, no way, he has been a solid and pretty consistent contributor off the bench.

Kreiner is 2nd on team (excluding mop up guys) in FG%, shooting 37% from 3, over 70% from the line and grabbing 4+ boards per game. His only real blemish is A/TO ratio.
