How much of right-wing opposition to vaccination was Fox News’s fault?

There is no scientific studies concerning mask wearing and social distancing reducing the spread of covid. The masks are virtually worthless and give people a false sense of protection.

I was wrong @KFsdisciple, it's 19%...there is something called science

Mask wearing in community settings reduces SARS-CoV-2 transmission

Your article says 19% reduction. Not much of one.

The effectiveness of mask wearing at controlling severe acute respiratory syndromecoronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission has been unclear. While masks are knownto substantially reduce disease transmission in healthcare settings [D. K. Chuet al.,Lancet395, 1973–1987 (2020); J. Howardet al., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A.118,e2014564118 (2021); Y. Chenget al., Scienceeabg6296 (2021)], studies in communitysettings report inconsistent results [H. M. Ollilaet al.,medRxiv (2020); J. Brainardet al., Eurosurveillance25, 2000725 (2020); T. Jeffersonet al., Cochrane DatabaseSyst. Rev.11, CD006207 (2020)]. Most such studies focus on how masks impacttransmission, by analyzing how effective government mask mandates are. However, wefind that widespread voluntary mask wearing, and other data limitations, make mandateeffectiveness a poor proxy for mask-wearing effectiveness. We directly analyze the effectof mask wearing on SARS-CoV-2 transmission, drawing on several datasets covering 92regions on six continents, including the largest survey of wearing behavior (n=20million) [F. Kreuteret al.,https://gisumd.github.io/COVID-19-API-Documentation(2020)]. Using a Bayesian hierarchical model, we estimate the effect of mask wearingon transmission, by linking reported wearing levels to reported cases in each region, while adjusting for mobility and nonpharmaceutical interventions (NPIs), such as banson large gatherings. Our estimates imply that the mean observed level of mask wearingcorresponds to a 19% decrease in the reproduction numberR. We also assess therobustness of our results in 60 tests spanning 20 sensitivity analyses. In light of theseresults, policy makers can effectively reduce transmission by intervening to increase maskwearing.

Even a 1% is better than nothing and KF said they didn't help at all...you flat earthers kill me. That's how I know we are Gods chosen creatures, because he/she/it wouldn't create a species so fvcking ignorant

It's a snowball rolling downhill. Fox has stupefied 35% of the population. Daily it keeps pouring shit, lies and propaganda into the eager ears of mesmerized morons, shutting out the actual events of the world around them to live in their cellar of ignorance.

It’s not as if there’s not a CNN or MSNBC to present alternatives… just nobody watches them

WHAT!!! Fauci was actually honest?

Everyone that was relatively young, healthy and not obese was in a “low risk situation.”

But they were pushing fear so a
one-size-fits-all scenario is the route they chose.

Masks, vaccines, isolation and shame for all. :D
