It saddens me that any of these photoshopped images exist and get proliferated.

Possessing and/or proliferating images like these make all of us dumber.

I'd kinda like to think my stupidity bottomed out a few years ago.

You'll understand when you get a little older. :)

I actually don't think King is dumb. Racist, historically challenged (representing Iowa but has a Confederate Battle flag on his desk), immoral and a faux Christian? Yes.

Completely ineffectual as an elected official? Absolutely.

Dumb? Not really.

King certainly isn't dumb. Look how he's played the Iowa Republicans he represents. You want dumb... look who voted for him.

This is one way.

My o my, What a tough life you must have spending all day every day hating those that don't agree with your beliefs. It will eat you up from the inside out. Why are you so hateful?

Judging from Buck's (R-Colorado) performance today in accidently getting Mueller to say that Trump basically committed crimes and could be indicted after office, I would say that he is in the running for dumbest.

I believe this is the OP’s way of saying he’d have no choice but to vote for King if he lived in the 4th.

I think it's funny how Trump publicly offers support for a corrupt Democrat like Bob Menendez more so than he does Steve King. Steve's definitely the fluffer in this relationship.

OP, why do you think your poll included 3 minorities to include with King? Are there no dumb white dems to consider?

Reminds me how often the preferred insult by Trump for black people is low IQ. At a much higher rate than any other group.

Is slavery and the following systematic and institutional racism considered the chicken or the egg?

Slavery was abolished in 1865.

The chicken and the egg is purely stating that this gap in IQ/test scores has been going on for many generations. So, how do today's black folks (let's say the last 40 years) get out of that hole? They aren't getting out of that hole for a reason. What's the reason? I think I know, but would like to hear your opinion.

I don't pretend to know all the answers. But I do know if you take one group of people and start them with literally no wealth and no family wealth to pass on and then for decades oppress and discriminate those people in regards to housing, education, employment, etc; my bet will be on the group that is not oppressed to be generally better off, even decades later.

OP wasn't saying the rep is dumb, he's asking which constituency is the dumbest. I voted King's district hands down for the reasons you lay out above. He is who he is and he's always been that guy, so they just keep sending forth a completely ineffectual official cycle after cycle.

At least AOC and Omar are new blood.

I agree. I also think there have been some social programs aimed at keeping them where they are, socially, so they NEED the government (votes).

I also think there have been some programs to help them out of where they are and they, in majority, do not take advantage of these. One example is black only college scholarships (which is inherently racist, by the way).

My freshman year of college I had a black room mate. He and his friends CLEARLY did not take it seriously and, eventually, dropped out or got kicked out for various reasons (theft, weed, domestic, etc.). A couple of them were on these scholarships.

Also, do you live in Iowa? Have you lived there your entire life?
