i had no idea he is the all time leading ILLINI scorer; I googled it; he is also the only Illini player to exceed the 2,000-point mark, Thomas registered 2,129 points during his four-year tenure from 1991-94.

Oh, I think they know. The gold standard of morals, Bruce Pearl, is not popular in Champaign to this day, and most programs feature the all-time leading scorer.

Also, why wouldn't BTN hire him? No one outside Iowa City thinks of him as dirty, seeing as he was cleared everything and never sat a game, LOL.
