We have either all had it or will at some point. Those I know that have had it said they had very minor, if any symptoms. Some dorm mates of our kids had it, asymptomatic, never were sick.

Going to be a lot of pissed off people if a team wins a division after playing only 6 games and another team is 6-2. Various tiebreakers could take care of it, but this has the makings of a shitshow. I am here for that.

Back in the day, 8-9;game seasons were the norm. Iowa’s best teams played those kinds of schedules...
just makes you wonder if Wisky is gonna play their next game on Nov 7, which is at Purdue, I believe. The Wisconsin team can't meet or practice for 7 days, at minimum

If this were any other season, if you didn't present a team to take the field, and the game can't be rescheduled, you'd be forced to take a forfeit loss.
At a minimum in a tie breaker they should hold this against Wisc. What if your team can't play 3 games because of the other teams having too many players test positive but those teams that canceled on them still get in 6 games? Does the team that was healthy get screwed and those that were sick stay eligible?
Probably from a health standpoint making the PU game will be a challenge. I also think even if they have the bodies getting ready to play a B1G FB game in 2 days seems questionable.

Once a team gets to the 6 games hurdle if they have a good record they could theoretically be incentivized to start a COVID outbreak among some of their backups so that they don’t have to play any more games until the Big10 championship.

Use the Electoral College. That would be simpler, and it would give Iowa the best chance because you can lose outright but still be declared the "winner."
Indiana needed overtime to beat an injury crippled Boilermaker team last year. Having certainty on the outcome of a rivalry game is Prophetic!

Absolutely, let's use all the tools at our disposal. But let's recognize the import of using our immune system effectively as well. It's not an "either/or"
They might not avoid wiscy, but if they play it'll be a much better chance to win.
Hope I'm wrong, but this could be a season of a few more games, then the season is over. No post season play, no division title games, no play-off. It's all cancelled because this all become completely unmanageable.
