It's been discussed here but really huge shout outs to not only Bob Stoops, but also to Matt Leinhart, Brady Quinn, and Reggie Bush. Besides Stoops, they ALL became Iowa "homers" and "fans" by paying attention to their words and actions this weekend.
Whether it be at their appearance Friday night at the intramural flag football on the Pentacrest and getting so involved with the college kids and thoroughly enjoying it, to their Saturday morning pre-game appearance on the show on the Pentacrest, to during the game....these guys were all the best.
Did anyone notice that Quinn and Leinhart were down in the southeast corner of the field after the game began and while not on the air, that these two guys were going crazy jumping up and down after Jacobs picked off the pass down at that end? Then I also noticed them cheering Iowa on along with the crowd as the game progressed while they were down there too.
The "Iowa experience" really impacted these guys and don't be shocked to see them back again-- like maybe next season when Michigan comes to town.
