Hugh Freeze resigns.

The argument in legalizing drugs is that it will end the criminal importation because it will drive prices down. I would assume the same argument would be used for legalizing prostitution. Lowering the price certainly doesn't help the woman/man who is prostituting herself/himself.
I'm not sure the price argument is correct. Doesn't legal weed cost more than in states that have legalized it? The argument for legal drugs that speaks to me is that adults should be able to decide how they use their body.

perhaps you would like to elaborate... I don't know what you are implying here.

Leviticus 20:10
And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife,
even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife,
the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Leviticus says a lot of crazy things like stoning your daughter if she has short hair and it's ok to own slaves of neighboring lands. (I am guessing that Mexicans would be alright but Canadians would be frowned upon)

well... look.... I'm pro-marriage all the way....
I'm sure you are too.

in today's world, infidelity seems common place... and I don't like it.

there was a time when adultery was punishable by death...
nowadays people lie and commit adultery and ...

All of that came across as:

Leviticus does not say to stone your daughter for having short hair.
somebody told you wrong.
1 Corinthians 11:15
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

and this issue with "slaves" is subjective... it would make for an interesting conversation if you had any interest in the truth.
John 8:34
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant(slave) of sin.

*why are Native Americans still being segregated?*

my original point was that there was a time when adultery was punishable by death... and if that were still the case, Hugh Freeze would then have to confess that the reason he called the escort service was for recruiting purposes.

you all want to change the topic... I'm fine with that.

It professionalized the industry. Any time you take something out of the black market and make it a corporate career you make it safer and more respectable. By denegtatimg prostitution you are really hating on all manual labor. Respect the craft anc you respect the person. Prostitutes are artists. Treat them like movie stars.

1. The industry is already professionalized.
2. Agree that making it legal would make it safer. Don't agree that that would make it more respectable.
3. WAY off with "denigrating all manual labor". Just a silly jump.
4. I don't, and we should never, respect the "craft" of renting one's body cavities.
5. "Artists"? Please!
6. Do we treat manual laborers as "movie stars" now?

adultery should be illegal... and an argument could be made that the punishment should be the death penalty.

Hugh Freeze is... or was... a married man.

but I suspect this escort service was not for him... but for potential recruits.

and I suspect this is common practice among SEC teams.

from what I'm reading, the Ole Miss A.D. is lying through his teeth about a whole bunch of stuff... and they got one hell of mess there at Ole Miss.

it would be shocking if there isn't more news to come from this situation.

Wowsa, I thought this was a site dedicated to Hawkeye sports. Did my internet connection warp over to the Jimmy Graham hour? Cmon dude everybody has their own belief system, and makes their own choices on these matters. Like many of you, I'll be at church tommorrow exercising my beliefs as is my right and yours. This really isn't the place for this, you think?

perhaps you missed the part where I said my point is that if Adultery was punishable by death, Hugh Freeze would then be forced to confess that he called the Escort Service for Recruiting Purposes.

as it stands now, he don't have to do nothin but stay white and die.

WTEF? If adultery was illegal and subject to the death penalty...there would be no more marriages. Or, there would be a lot less faux Christians alive.

Perhaps you missed the point on the football forum nobody wants to hear any religion or political garbage spewed out. Take it to a different forum. Not too hard to comprehend.

if that were the case.... people wouldn't go off topic...
you should direct your anger at those who have strayed from the topic while replying to me.

Well....you used his poor judgement to make a ultra conservative, theological point that has no realistic relationship to the topic at hand. It was a comment custom made for driving the topic off the rails. Which is what happened. Next time, try to leave your religious dogma out of your football related comments, maybe. That should eliminate these problems in the future. If you can't do that, you'll have to get used to being responsible for topics going off the rails.

Yep, movie stars do everything a hooker does and records it. Actors and whores used to be synonymous. Then we decided to like them if they dressed nice. The same has existed in courtesan culture too. Professionalize it, make it look nice and selling BJs will become gods work.

Another southern chest pounding sanctimonious Christian proven to be a phony hypocrite-what a surprise.

Pretty sure you were the guy pissing and moaning about getting banned for being a "homer", yet you've turned this thread and others into a shit show.

I'd gladly hear what a Florida Atlantic fan has to say about Iowa football over your "thoughts"

Maybe they should hire Buddy Stephens from Last Chance U...he would fit right in at an SEC school... :)

Really like that series but the head coach Buddy Stephens maybe one of the biggest Aholes out there. No way could he antics work at a bigger school.
