US Open This weekend--
HWC Athletes Dan Dennis and Bob Telford are competing to attempt to qualify for the Olympic Trials--I was in Carver yesterday for practice and saw both guys before they left-- Dennis had just finished a workout- as most of you know this is a big cut for him, he weight was under control and he actually was smiling and in a good mood.
He could prob cut 1/2 pound in a hurry if he cut his beard.
Big Bob was also smiling--I'm told he is working hard,adjusting to freestyle and improving.
TRam-- spent a LOT of time in this practice working with #Terry .No smiles from him until after practice,when I reminded him I was leading his Fantasy Football Pool and he didn't make the playoffs.
There was talk that we would have HWC wrestlers in Russia in Jan or Cuba in Feb so it seems they will be fairly active this winter.
Our next fundraising event is the Plunge--- hwcplunge.com It is a lot of fun,has grown every year --- consider a pledge or even jumping yourself!
