Yep, next week is the game of the year for the Hawks. Get by this one and we are well on the way to a spectacular season.
This team doesnt have to steal anything. I think they are straight up better than PSU

A win in happy valley would be an upset, let’s be real. I think our D will keep us in any game, will the O help us to victory? That’s the question.
With the way these two teams are playing/trending right now, I bet the vegas spread is around 3 points. It won't be much of if any upset if Iowa wins.
Penn will be favored regardless. If we win , it’s an upset.
If they lose today, they certainly wil not be favored.
Penn State will get some points for home field advantage. I don't think that rattles Iowa, but we will see. It's a Big Ten road game against a very good team.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch most of the game. But from the little I saw and the final score and stats it certainly looks like it was far from Iowa's best effort on offense but yet it was still a b**** slap of a game. They're turning into a pretty damn good team
The defense is becoming dominating. Next week is a huge step forward and test. Pedo State is not dominating on either side of the ball.

Im with you. I thought this would be an 8 win team but I'm starting to think differently. Just have to avoid the crap hole loss.
It would be considered an upset you the national media , but right now, top to bottom, Iowa is playing better than PSU. If Iowa continues to grow, this one is very winnable.
The wind was definitely in his head. Some of his timing was even kind of comical today. But that's all good because how often do games get played with up to 45 mph wind gusts?!
Redzone offense needs a lot of work. And wouldn't hurt to have a running back that can break one. Those two areas are something that helped Iowa's success in 2015.
