I’m very impressed with Iowa this year…

As a Purdue fan, I can say I think Iowa has a better team than last year as I stated in an earlier thread. While I thought Purdue played poorly at times and shot the ball well below average, you have to give Iowa a lot of credit for that. I thought you played harder than Purdue and were tougher than we were throughout most of the game. Considering Keegan didn’t play and how hard it is to play at Mackey, I thought you played an excellent game and had an outstanding game plan… Both teams will get better after this type of game. I’ve seen a lot of Purdue games, especially in person (I now live far away and wasn’t there last night) and once you got down 19 most teams would’ve been blown out at that point. This is the most complete and dangerously talented Purdue team we’ve ever had as far as overall depth and makeup is concerned and better teams than this would’ve been destroyed once down by that many. You should be really proud of your team, because this Purdue team is only going to lose 4 or 5 games max and is a sure fire Final Four team. Keep grinding and good luck until the 1/27 meeting at Carver-Hawkeye…
